Blanche M. (Brammer) Absher went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 28, 2010, at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family.
She was 94 and had lived the majority of her life in Cecil County. She was a member of Conowingo Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she taught Sunday school, Girls Auxiliary, and was active in the home bound ministry. Mrs. Absher retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Clyde Brammer; a son, and four grandchildren, as well as her second husband.
She is survived by her son, Clyde Brammer Jr. and wife, Susanne of Conowingo, MD; daughters, Shirley Monk of Quarryville, PA and Joanne Henderson and husband, Richard of Conowingo, MD; brother, Howard Pyle of Rising Sun, MD; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at Conowingo Baptist Church, 151 Rock Springs Road, Conowingo, MD 21918, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will follow in Conowingo Baptist cemetery. To send condolences visit www.rtfoard.com
